Treasure Coast Golf Course Superintendents Association

Supporting our community's environmental education opportunities through The Blue Pearl Tournament

Blue Pearl

The Blue Pearl Golf Tournament
The first Blue Pearl Golf Tournament was held in 1995 at Loblolly Pines in Hobe Sound, Florida.  The TCGCSA's successful event raised $9000 and all the proceeds were donated to the Treasure Coast Wildlife Hospital.

From that day forward the TCGCSA elected to use future Blue Pearl Golf Tournament proceeds for the benefit of the community and the environment.  Each year funds are allocated to one or more deserving causes or classrooms that support environmental and ecological awareness.

By funding environmental and ecological awareness programs in grade schools throughout the Treasure Coast the TCGCSA helps inform and educate not only students but their parents, teachers and administrators. Our goal is to foster and nurture environmental education for children who will grow up understanding the benefits of a healthy environment and the benefits golf courses offer to people, wildlife, and the environment.

Since the advent of The Blue Pearl and the generous support of sponsors and participants over the years the TSCGSA has raised over $200,000 and we have been able to fund a variety of worthwhile programs including;

  • The Audubon International Grant Program for Schools, $5000
